The trip around Iceland, Tue 20th of July Day 4
I slept very well in Grænhóll, so well that it was too late to go horse riding with Raggi. We agreed in late hours previous night after drinking some beers that we would go horseback riding but for our relief we slept too long and didn't have time to do it.The Grænhóll farm
After caffe latte and piece of pizza at local bakery it was time to say good bye to Tóta and Raggi and we departed with good spirits.
I also departed with good deeds with horses that we weren't riding, I think they were also happy that we didn't make closer friends at that time...
The time was so short that I just drove directly to Reykjavik only stopping twice for coffee. The route went through: Varmahlið, Blonduós and Borgarnes.
I would like to thank Jóna and Sveinbjörn for borrowing the car. Arna Vala ástin minn for inspiration. Rafael, Þórunn Hyrna Víkingsdóttir and Dögg for accommodation. Rakki for good nite out in Akureyri. Weather gods, Elf queen in Borgarfjörður east for allowing me to visit her castle mountain. RUV (national radio station) for brilliant classical music. My mum for sending few pesetas for casoline. And last but not least the Iceland itself.
Summa sum marum: the result of this road trip was that I had most of the Fifth Element exhibition pictures taken during these days - so I will give full 10 point for this journey!!
